OCShowbiz was founded, and is funded, by a small group of Orange County residents who are passionate about all manner of entertainment arts and providing encouragement for the people who make it happen, often unsung and behind-the-scenes.

We started with a primary focus on Orange County as OCShowbiz but, soon realized that the entire Southern California arts community is so connected that we changed our name to SOCALshowbiz to reflect that reality.  We have an enormous pool of talent that should be celebrated for the enjoyment they give us.
